Muhaddith E Azam Mission Leicester is the Leicester branch of Muhaddith E Azam Mission International, a charitable trust founded by his Eminence Shaykh ul Islam w’al Muslimeen Hazrat Syed Muhammad Madani Miya al Ashrafi al Jilani and named after his blessed father Muhaddith E Azam al Hind Hazrat Syed Muhammad Abul Muhamid al Ashrafi al Jilani (rahmatullahi alayh). The mission has helped many with providing education, health care, help with marriages, care for orphans and many other services. The international Head Office is based in Ahmedabad, India and is overseen by Hazrat Shaykh ul Islam himself.
The Leicester branch was opened on 16th August 2015 by Janasheen e Shaykh ul Islam Hazrat Syed Hassan Askari Miya al Ashrafi Jilani and Hazrat Syed Arabi Miya al Ashrafi Jilani. The mission will be providing educational services to the local community soon InshaAllah, and will also offer namaz with jamaat in an area where there is need for a Sunni mosque.
